KomS-BW and VSA-Switzerland Technology Forum on Micropollutants | Block Discussion on Ozonation
The 10th Technology Forum on Micropollutants was a collaboration of Micropollutants Competency Center of the state of Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany and the Swiss Micropoll platform of VSA. We presented our latest accomplishments in the field of ozonation as a tertiary treatment step. In addition, I presented the establishment of an ozone laboratory plant in our facilities in order to execute preliminary ozone experiments, monitoring of the byproducts and transformation products, as well as the micropollutants elimination in wastewater.

European Forum Alpbach | Water Citizen Exhibition
As part of the Alpbach Learning Mission, a group of 6 participants of the seminar "Water Security" decided to run for the competition with their idea of a Water Citizen Exhibition. Our team succeeded in getting into the final round of presentations and winning one of golden ticket awards of the year 2019. Our concept gained the support of the Business Angels representatives from the Greenpeace and Vertical Geopolitics Lab organizations.

Thesis | Assessment of Micropollutants
Micropollutants (MPs) are the organic compounds found in the concentration of μg per liter. MPs can derivate from pharmaceuticals, pesticides, personal care products, surfactants, industrial chemicals, etc. Despite their low concentrations, MPs are persistent and can bioaccumulate in the aquatic biomass and climb their path up the food pyramid.
